The solar car - called Stella Era - completed a very difficult journey of 3000 km from Darwin to Adelaide. In the cruiser class, the TU Eindhoven team was first on efficiency points and also scored very high on comfort & innovation.
The cruiser class (4-seater family car) was introduced in 2013 to close the gap between the World Solar Challenge and the use of cars in daily life.
